Current Interns & Volunteers

Ms. Danhak Gu
danhak.gu@eaaflyway.net

I am Danhak. I majored in international administration for my undergraduate studies, and I am planning to pursue my further study in Environmental Policy for my master. I worked as a UN University Volunteer in Mongolia in 2017 after finishing my undergraduate. As I am greatly interested in nature conservation, I am very happy to be a part of EAAFP which contributes sustainable Environment for birds. I believe protecting migratory bird habitats interconnects with every creature’s habitat including the habitat of human beings. Thus, working for EAAFP as an intern is a great stepping stone to get a clearer sense of our surroundings, the earth and to learn how to live harmonizing with one another. I would like to learn and help contribute toward peace and sustainable environment.

Ms. Shinhye Han

Hello, my name is Shinhye Han. I majored in Public Administration. My goal of my entire life is to make the world better, and I think that all the issues we have faced are connected with each other such as the environment, gender, economy, and so on. I applied for EAAFP because I believe that the environment is especially important to solve other problems. I would like to learn a lot about migratory birds, their habitat conservation, and what people do for them. I’m glad to be a help and will do my best to contribute to EAAFP!

Mr. Clinton Poletti

My name is Clinton Poletti, and I am very excited to be starting my internship at EAAFP.  I have recently received my Master’s degree from Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies, where I focused my studies on foreign policy and international security. I am really excited to be starting my internship at EAAFP, as I believe that this organization is extremely vital for ensuring the continued survival of numerous waterbird species. I will definitely strive to do my best to contribute all that I can to EAAFP’s cause!

Eugene CheahHello, I am from Malaysia. I am helping the Secretariat voluntary as a contributing photographer. I started my career in environment field at WWF-Malaysia under the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary project on the mangrove rehabilitation. After the completion of the project, I continued working as a resident naturalist at the sanctuary, which was re-named as the Kota Kinabalu Wetland recently. I also have career as a nature/tourist guide and a nature photographer. Since 2012, I am concentrating on nature photography, especially taking shorebirds photographs to highlight the necessity of urgent conservation actions.
