This workshop is for: (1) fulfillment of the Single Species International Action Plan; (2) improvement for national Action Plans; (3) coordinate surveys within key states; and (4) further cooperation of research and conservation.
During the workshop, Scaly-sided Merganser conference open to public will be held in Changde, and a field trip will be made to Yuanshui National Wetland Park, key wintering site of Scaly-sided Merganser, and Dongting Lake, one of the largest lake in China.
