The European Outdoor Conservation Fund (EOCA) is calling for applications for projects that benefit biodiversity in wild landscapes. To be eligible, project applications must address the two main areas: 1) Protect, enhance, or restore threatened key species, habitats, or broader ecosystems in 'wild' areas; 2) Consider the needs of outdoor enthusiasts such as hikers, bikers, kayakers, climbers, bird watchers or explorers, etc. Projects must also involve hands-on practical conservation work. 'Wild' areas are defined as non-urban environments and ecosystems such as alpine meadows, forests, peatlands, freshwater habitats, salt marshes, mangroves, and seagrass meadows. Non-profit organizations can apply to implement a conservation project in any country around the world except North America. EOCA will be accepting applications from 1 June through 15 June 2023 for funding in autumn 2023.
Maximum Amount: up to €30,000 Submission Deadline: 15 June, 2023
