The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is accepting proposals to improve the populations of focal seabirds. Project proposals with a geographic focus on the following four geographies will be considered for evaluation: California Current, Hawaiian Archipelago, Humboldt Current, and locations in the central tropical Pacific supporting the priority species listed on the website. The priority goes to the topic that deals with 1) Management of non-native, invasive animals, 2) Restoration, 3) Bycatch reduction, 4) Research and Monitoring, and 5) Prospective species. Eligible entities include non-profit 501(c) organizations, federal government agencies, state government agencies, local governments, municipal governments, tribal governments and organizations, educational institutions, international organizations, and businesses.
Maximum Amount: approximately $5,000,000 (generally fall within a range of $50,000 to $1,000,000)
