2021 Incheon-Hong Kong International East Asian – Australasian Flyway Black-faced Spoonbill Conservation Cooperation Forum

To continue the collaboration under the EAAFP Sister Site agreement, “2021 Incheon-Hong Kong International East Asian – Australasian Flyway Black-faced Spoonbill Conservation Cooperation Forum: Cooperation between Incheon-Hong Kong on Conserving Migratory Waterbirds and Their Habitats” is to be held on 17th December, 2021. It is co-hosted by The Environment Bureau of Incheon Metropolitan Government and The Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department (AFCD) of Hong Kong SAR, and organized by the EAAFP Secretariat and the EAAFP Black-faced Working Group,
With the purpose to enhance the cooperation of conservation for endangered Black-faced Spoonbill in the EAAF, representatives from Incheon/Ro Korea and Hong Kong will be sharing on the 2021 relevant activities, reporting the result of Black-faced Spoonbill Monitoring and study on their habitats and winter census, and sharing the current works for BFS in Incheon, Hong Kong, and Ro Korea, and discussing on further activities.

2021 인천-홍콩 국제 동아시아-대양주 철새이동경로 저어새 보전 협력 포럼

EAAFP 자매서 서식지 결연으로 맺어진 두 도시, 인천광역시 환경국과 홍콩특별행정구역 농어업자연보전국에서 주최하고, EAAFP 사무국과 EAAFP 저어새 워킹그룹이 주관하는 “2021 인천-홍콩 국제 동아시아-대양주 철새이동경로 저어새 보전 협력 포럼”이 2021년 12월 17일 온라인으로 개최됩니다.
국제적 위기종인 저애새를 보전하기 위한 협력을 증진하기 위한 이 포럼에서는, 인천과 홍콩의 저어새 보전 관련 사업을 공유하고, 한국의 저어새 모니티링 및 서식지 이용 연구의 결과 보고, 저어새 동시 센서스 결과, 인천과 한국의 저어새 보전 협력 현황 공유 및 향후 저어새 및 물새 보전 협력 활동을 논의하고자 합니다.
