World Migratory Bird Day  2018

Summary: We UKM-Himpus have done some activities before the peak event World Migratory Bird Day 2018, the first one we carry out the distribution activities of 1000 stickers in the surroundings Banda Aceh City, Indonesia on 1 May 2018. With this activity, we also provided education to the community about migratory birds and invite the community to together save birds migration. This activity was appreciated by the public.

And the second Pre-event we do Coloring competition of kindergarten level at PAUD Bungong Seleupoek Unsyiah, Darussalam, Indonesia at the date of 5 May 2018. our goal is to do this activity to educate migratory bird species for the children.

And then peak event Seminar and Bird Watching the of “Unifying Our Voices for Bird Conservation”. which is filled by two speakers namely: Drh. Agus Nurza, M.Si and Mrs. Rubama. M. And moderator by Venny Merlina, S.KH. The presenters are experts in the field of conservation birds.  The seminar and bird watching we did at the date of 13 May 2018. Seminar we did in Hall faculty Veterinary medicine of Syiah Kuala University. For Bird Watching we did in Ulee Lheue beach, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This event was attended by 150 participants.
