The Secretariat received a news from Mr. Ju Yung-Ki about the recent observation of Spoon-billed Sandpipers in Yubu-do Tidal Flat [EAAF101], Republic of Korea (RoK) as below.
Total nine (9) Spoon-billed Sandpiper (SBS) were observed at the Yubu-do Tidal Flat (N 36.00, E 126.60), RoK, between 19 September and 4 October 2016.
- One SBS with: Right upper white flag 1H, right lower blue band, left upper metal ring
- One SBS with: Left upper white flag A9, left lower orange flag (no characters), right lower metal ring
- One SBS with : Left upper white flag E6, left lower orange flag (no characters), right lower metal ring
- One SBS with: Left upper white flag A5 over orange flag (no characters), right lower metal ring
- One SBS with: Right upper yellow flag MJ
- One SBS with: Right upper green flag A2
- Three SBS without any rings or flags
