Position open for recruitment; Chief Executive, East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partnership Secretariat

The East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) is now inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive to lead the Secretariat in Incheon, Republic of Korea (open until 15 November 2011 or until the position is filled). This position is an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead the international Secretariat of the East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partnership, developing a diversity of activities in support of the Partnership. The Chief Executive will be responsible for managing a small multinational team. We are looking for an experienced team leader and manager who can work with a wide range of international stakeholders. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential as English is the language used by the Partnership. The successful applicant will have the experience and confidence needed to work closely with governments, intergovernmental organisations, international NGOs, and the corporate sector. Knowledge of the Asian – Australasian region is highly desirable.
