The Spoon-billed Sandpiper Recovery Team (SBS RT) lead by Christoph Zockler has recently released a special paper summarizing the hunting threat in Myanmar. During the Fourth Meeting of Partners of the East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partership, Feb 2010, SBS RT was welcomed by the Partnership and could become a species task force under the EAAFP in close consultation with CMS and the EAAFP Shorebird Working Group. The 8th SBS RT meeting is planed to be held together with the Fifth Meeting of Partners in December 2010.
