송도갯벌, 국내 19번째 ‘람사르 습지’ 지정
송도갯벌 습지보호지역이 람사르 습지로 지정됐다. 인천시(시장 유정복)와 한국해양환경관리공단(이사장 곽인섭)은 멸종위기 조류인 저어새·검은머리갈매기 등이 서식하고 있는 송도갯벌 습지보호지역이 람사르 습지로 지정됐다고 밝혔다. 이들 기관에 따르면 스위스에 본사를 둔 람사르 사무국은 송도 6·8공구 옆 2.5㎢, 11공구옆 3.61㎢ 등 송도갯벌 습지보호지역 6.11㎢를 람사르 습지로 지정했다. 송도갯벌 람사르 습지증서는 7월 10일 송도컨벤시아에서 개최된 ‘제13회 세계습지의 날 기념식’에서 손재학 해양수산부차관으로부터 […]
