EAAFP – 3rd Notification To Partners Of MOP 11
Earlier in the year the EAAFP Management Committee and the Australian Government agreed to reassess in October, the potential impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic on the planned EAAFP 11th Meeting of Partners (MoP11) in March 2021.
Following communication with the Australian Government and discussions at the EAAFP Management Committee meeting held last week, regarding the timing of EAAFP 11th Meeting of Partners (MoP11), the following decision has been taken:
Due to the ongoing restrictions on international travels, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, EAAFP MoP11 will be postponed for 12 months. The Secretariat will confirm MoP11 arrangements (including the new timeline for documents) once the specific meeting dates are finalized by our hosts – the Australian Government and BirdLife Australia.
The EAAFP Secretariat will continue its work and update Partners, Working Groups and Task Forces on any issues and upcoming decisions related to MoP11 via email, the MoP11 webpage and social media channels.
