We are pleased to invite you to the First Exhibition, which will be held from Thursday 4th August to 26th August at Ecological Education Center in Songdo. The Exhibition opens from 10 am to 5 pm and the admission fee is free.
In this exhibition, visitors can see Mr. Yang Kura’s (Korean installation artist) sculptures of Black-faced Spoonbills made of marine waste and driftwood to promote the international importance of conserving wetlands and protecting the natural environment in Yeonsu-gu for Black-faced Spoonbills to breed in stabilized populations away from endangered species.
Also, the fifth Education program ‘Imaginary Monster’ will be held at 9:30 am on the first day of the exhibition which is 4th August.
Bird Meets Arts Exhibition is divided into the first and second stages, and the second exhibition, which will be held at the G Gallery in the G Tower from August 27 to September 2, will show video works that show the preparation process of 2022<Bird Meets Arts> project.

<Bird Meets Arts> is a cooperative project between YSFAC (Yeonsu Foundation for Arts and Culture) and EAAFP (East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership) Foundation. Starting in 2021, <Bird Meets Arts> aims to raise awareness for the importance of migratory waterbirds and their habitats among the general public through creative culture and art activities. The 2021 <Bird Meets Arts> project produced 14 videos with six themes: “Ep1. Migratory waterbirds”, “Ep2. Wetlands”, “Ep3. History”, “Ep4. llustration and CEPA”, “Ep5. Youth“ and “Ep6. Music” in Korean and English respectively.
