The EAAFP Secretariat is happy to introduce our new Administration and Finance Officer, Ms. Yejin Jung from the Republic of Korea.

Ms. Jung has been engaged in environmental conservation since receiving both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Chemistry at the Catholic University of Korea, respectively.

She has more than fifteen years of experience from four different positions, all of which were focused on environmental conservation. From 2000 to 2003, Ms. Jung worked as a researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) where she carried out studies on metal pollution in soil. She then worked for the Incheon Namgu District Office’s Environmental Conservation Division followed by a position at the Department of Waste Management from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, she entered the Department of Environmental Conservation and worked there for seven years before joining the EAAFP Secretariat.

Ms. Jung has worked for environmental policies directed at reducing the effects of climate change and has maintained a passion for conserving our environment for both wildlife and future generations of humans. The Secretariat is confident that she will be a valuable member of our team and is looking forward to working together with her in the future.
