Black-faced Spoonbill dragging a gin trap

We received news from Mr. John MacKinnon (Chief Technical Advisor of UNDP-GEF Wetland PA System Strengthening for Biodiversity Conservation Programme), that a Black-faced Spoonbill was seen dragging a gin trap around (photo) on 30 March 2015 in China. It can survive on the mudflats but will surely get stuck on vegetation when it tries to breed in Korea, commented Mr. MacKinnon. Let’s watch out and try to rescue this bird when we see it!
