A Partner since 2010, Thailand is home to 3 coastal wetland Flyway Network Sites, designated under the specifications of the Partnership. Among the many species supported by Thai wetlands, the region has been greatly appreciated for its numerous sightings of non-breeding Spoon-billed Sandpipers, a critically endangered shorebird that lives in the EAAF.
